About five years ago a team of very enthusiastic and very serious workers came to me to ask if they could create a CD-Rom version of The Emperor. They propositioned that they would create the CD-Rom version with the full text and pictures from the book, and that the finished CD would be all anyone could hope for or want in a CD-Rom. They gave us first a version for the MacIntosh platform, designed for publishing hemp related media...and then came back the following year and created the new version 1.2 we offered with the Quick Time movie version of the almost eradicated 1940 war department training film “Hemp for Victory” and the translation of the book into html, making this information available for Windows users. You will also find many other contributions from many initial hemp activists included on the disk and I extend a heartfelt thanks to all of them at this time, as well.
I am very proud and lucky these guys and gals lived up to their promise and more. They worked literally thousands of hours going over every bit of text and voice narrative, and adding color and additional art, all conveying some of my deepest and lightest thoughts and feelings about hemp prohibition — injected right onto the disk!!
I salute Milo, Stephen, Chris, Ivy, Bill, John, and Michael for an extraordinary job of putting a faithful and yet more comprehensive edition of the Emperor out for the public making the Emperor accessible and digestible to millions more. We’ve added about 150 pictures and more than 5,000 new words, bringing the 1999 version of the Emperor right up to date.
My share of royalties and ownership in the project will be used and dedicated to teach more people to be in touch with the comprehensive Hemp Initiative to re-legalize Cannabis through the initiative process...
